Oh Mon Dieu 2 - National Pride

Hello lovelies!

There's only 3 days left of the OMD2 challenge. Holy crap!

Let's get to the nails!

You would think as much as I love water marbling, that I would like doing waterspotted nails. But I'm not a huge fan of doing it. I feel like I always make a way bigger mess when I do it and the spray you have to use starts smelling really bad, but I like how this looks!

Here's what I used:

This is the 3rd "Country/National Pride" manicure I've done this month. I gotta admit, I'm a bit sick of them...

These nails started with 2 coats of Time Traveler and a layer of Iocaine Powder. I then started by dripping the white polish into some water, spraying it with hair spray, and dipping each finger. This was then repeated with the red polish. Everything was sealed in with HK Girl.

I don't think these nails are super-dupery MURICA-ish pride but I like that they're kind of grunge-y but they still have a little bit of sparkle underneath. And I promise no more red, white, and blue nail art until next July 4th!

Thanks for reading guys!

  2. I really like these, and it's not very obviously red, white and blue. That white over the dark blue base looks a bit lilac to me *winks*
